Walmart + Sam’s Club: Feeding Communities Together

In light of the growing need for food assistance across the country, Walmart and Sam’s Club have launched the Feeding Communities Together campaign to help food banks and local communities — including High Plains Food Bank — fight hunger this holiday season.

From November 3 to November 26, customers can easily make a difference when they check out at any Walmart or Sam’s Club location.
You can:

• Donate $1, $5, or round up your total at checkout
• Or choose an amount that fits your budget

All donations made in-store will stay local, directly supporting High Plains Food Bank and our mission to provide food and hope to families in need across the Texas Panhandle.

Walmart and Sam’s Club will match donations up to $5 million nationwide!

Funds raised through this campaign will be distributed to local food banks — including High Plains Food Bank — in January and February 2026, helping us restock shelves and meet the increased demand during winter months.

Season of Giving – Ways Associates Can Help

During the same period (Nov. 3 – Nov. 26), Walmart and Sam’s Club associates across the country can participate in the Season of Giving by contributing to their local Feeding America partner food bank — that means you can help High Plains Food Bank directly through your store’s internal giving platform.
